SERVING TEXAS OPERATIONSInfrastructure

The generator is only one part of a facility's power system. Transfer equipment, distribution, controls, and the existing electrical infrastructure all shape how the installation will operate. Lonestar Power Systems provides electrical infrastructure services and turnkey integration with an in-house electrical division. We work with commercial, industrial, and municipal project teams to define the interfaces between systems and organize the work around the site's operating requirements.

Automatic transfer switch integration

Plan how generator power will connect with the transfer equipment serving the facility. The scope starts with the existing arrangement, the loads involved, and the operating sequence the project requires, rather than treating the switch as an isolated purchase.

Switchgear and distribution

Coordinate electrical infrastructure and distribution work with the larger power project. Drawings, existing equipment information, available space, and shutdown requirements help establish the work involved and identify the connections that need attention before installation begins.

Controls coordination

Bring control-system requirements into the project discussion alongside the electrical and mechanical work. Clarify what equipment must communicate, what operators need to see, and which system interfaces belong within the agreed scope.

Turnkey project integration

Coordinate generator, electrical, fuel, and control-system work as connected parts of the project. This approach is useful when a site needs a complete installation or upgrade and wants the responsibilities between disciplines to be clear.

FROM FIRST CALL TO NEXT STEP

A CLEAR PATH
FORWARD.

01

Map the existing system

Review available drawings, equipment schedules, site constraints, and the intended operating requirements. For an upgrade, explain which parts of the system will remain and which issues the new work needs to address.

02

Define interfaces and access

Establish the connections, controls, project responsibilities, and site access needed for the work. Coordinate any planned interruptions with the facility team before the installation sequence is finalized.

03

Coordinate installation and verification

Bring installation and commissioning requirements into the same plan. Confirm the intended operating sequence and the testing scope so the transition from construction to operation has a clear set of next steps.

BEFORE WE GET STARTED

GOOD QUESTIONS.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS.

Can you integrate a generator with existing equipment?

Existing-system integration is a project-specific assessment. Share the generator, transfer switch, switchgear, and controls information available for your site. The team can then discuss compatibility, the work required, and any equipment changes that need further review.

Do you have an electrical division?

Yes. Lonestar Power Systems has an in-house electrical division and lists Texas Electrical Contractor License 40898. Contact the team to discuss the electrical scope for your generator, facility, or infrastructure project.

What does turnkey mean for my project?

It means discussing the connected project requirements together and agreeing on a coordinated scope. The specific equipment, design responsibilities, installation activities, commissioning, and handover items still need to be defined for your project before work begins.
